How the bands work

Every relic has four customer reactions. Cheap and Perfect sales feed the shop perk meter, which is how you earn shop perks during a trading day. Expensive is the highest price an ordinary customer accepts, but it earns no perk progress. Anything above that is Overpriced and only wealthy guests will consider it. The Perfect Stamp appears in the Codex once you have sold a relic at exactly the top of the Perfect band.

The ratio behind the bands was worked out by the community in May 2026: every Expensive price is divisible by 6, Perfect is 7/8 of Expensive and Cheap is 17/24 of Expensive. For 140 of the 154 relics the published Perfect price fits that ratio exactly; for the other 14 the calculator rounds and says so.

Calculator questions

Why does the shop show a higher price than I typed?

The number floating over a relic is your set price multiplied by its quality multiplier. Customers judge the price you set, not the multiplied result, so keep the set price inside the Perfect band and let quality do the rest.

What if I do not know a relic’s price yet?

Overprice on purpose and lower it after the first refusal: you can always drop a price but a customer who already bought cheap is gone. Since Blob-Life the price screen shows which band a price falls in once you know the bands above and below it.

Does the calculator include daily popularity bonuses?

No. Culture days and rarity days raise what customers will pay for a biome or rarity, and furniture such as showcases adds its own bonus, but none of those multipliers are published. The calculator gives the base bands only.
